My name is Amber Holven, and I have been a lover of photography since I first got a camera in my hands! When I was 11 years old I started posing my sisters and trying to create portraits. I get so much joy from seeing people react to their images, either on social media, on their computers, or hanging in their homes. I have always loved photos and celebrating moments. The name “The ScrapPea” comes from my love of scrapbooking and using photos to tell stories.

Most days you would be hard pressed to find me without a camera in my hands, even in the days before everyone had a phone with a quality camera, I could be found with at least 1 camera stuffed in my purse, backpack, diaper bag, or even my pockets! My friends know if you need a photos of something we have done in the past, I am the girl to ask! My 3 boys could contend with the Kardashians with how often they have been photographed!!

My second love is the stage and though I prefer to be on stage, I get such a thrill out of production photography. Nothing sells a story to the masses like an incredible image!

I also believe that photography should be attainable, so I strive to keep my sessions affordable. I offer shorter sessions with fewer images for you if you need, or full sessions at a higher cost and many images. Talk to me about what you are looking for, and we will see if we can make it happen.
